I wrote this a few months ago about the lovely and beautiful Sophie

I then decided I would give it to her as a birthday present.

She Cried.

It started off as a piano piece but then I figured out the chords on the Guitar - so that's how I mainly play it nowadays. I originally wanted to perform it with a bunch of mates like Kage on the Flute and Catherine on backup, and I also wanted a Cello in there. But then I thought that I should play it with just myself - that way it's more personal. I also was thinking that I'd give her one of my cds with htat as a bonus track on the end -but when i record it I want to do it relaly well with a cello and everything.

I played it for my audition at MAINZ. I said "Well, the next song is kinda sappy because it's for my girlfriend..." and the guys auditioning me said "oh man, eveyr guy and his dog has a song about the girlfriend!" I asked whether I should play another one, but they insisted on hearing it. Then after I played two verses of it, and faded out the ending, they both kinda just sat there and said "wow, I think I have a bit of a tear in my eye after that one"

So this is a really good song, one of the best I've written I think. I'm going to put it up on the same site I put Coffee onto once I record it later on this year.
